Female Personal Trainer College Station Texas

Somebody asked me the other day what my philosophy on training is. Although this has changed over the years it usually comes down to this:

If you want to see a significant gain in your fitness level, you must be working out REGULARLY overloading your muscles so that there is a gradual adaptation and increase in muscular strength and endurance.

Continually increasing the demands on the musculoskeletal system to will help you make gains in muscle size, strength, and endurance. Simply put, in order to get stronger, you must continually make your muscles work harder than they're used to!

What do I mean by REGULARLY? I'm talking 5X a week for at least one hour. I know that the American College of Sports Medicine recommends 150 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise. I go above and beyond this because I feel that working out is instrumental to good health and 150 minutes is the MINIMUM.

Everybody deserves to feel good about themselves and working out does the job quite well. I expect a lot from my training clients. I expect them to be ALL IN if they are going to spend the money on a trainer. I expect them to work hard while we are together, follow my nutrition plan for them, and complete the workouts at home when they are not with me. I HIGHLY recommend Beachbody On Demand for at home workouts that can be done just about anywhere. I expect clients to show up on time for their sessions and always with a good attitude. There will always be days when it's hard to get going, but if clients make the effort, I always make it worth their while.

Weight training is a big part of what I do as well as sports conditioning, HIIT training, military fitness, TRX training and of course the PiYo workout for flexibility and core strength. I love helping athletes get ready for events. Triathlon training is my specialty, although I have helped many athletes train for Spartan races and Tough Mudder races. I spent many years working with our United States Military personnel on various military installations across the United States teaching and training our troops. This was one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

So if you are committed to making a change and you want to get stronger, faster, build muscle, increase endurance, or gain flexibility, then I can help you get going toward your goals. Wanna know more? Click HERE to email me now!
